How do you think NDSU is preparing you for your future?

NDSU is doing a great job so far because I am taking classes and meeting people that will allow me to pursue my career after college. NDSU offers such a broad range of majors and minors, that you can find a class or a subject that you will love or excel at, or both, and I am finding that out more and more everyday.

What is the most surprising thing you’ve learned about yourself at NDSU?

I am learning what my future is starting to shape and mold into, which is very important and very exciting. Most importantly, I am learning who I really am in terms of authenticity. I am finding out how I react with different people, different cultures, backgrounds and different situations.

Why did you choose NDSU?

I chose NDSU for a variety of reasons. The first reason was because it was close to home. The next reason is because it is very inexpensive and finally, it is a fantastic place to receive an education all the while making life-long friendships.

What is the best thing about life at NDSU?

I think the best thing about life at NDSU is the accepting, laid-back atmosphere. You just feel accepted and comfortable as a student here at NDSU. You are not just a number like you might be at a huge Big Ten School.

The people (the students and faculty) are the reason for the accepting atmosphere. Everyone has their own backgrounds and experiences, and they are so open and understanding to others' beliefs and experiences as well.
